Frédéric Druck has a Master in Journalism and Communications at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where he started his career as a university assistant. He then developed his professional expertise in corporate communications and public relations in roles at employers’ organisations (UPEDI, Federgon). His knowledge of the world of healthcare comes from his time with Merck Sharp & Dohme and with the Belgian public relations consultancy firm Interel as Manager of the medical department providing services for various pharmaceutical companies. At BioWin, Frédéric is Deputy Managing Director responsible for communication, European and international partnerships, networking activities and international relations for the cluster, and supervision of training initiatives. He is President of the European Diagnostic Clusters Alliance (EDCA) and President of the Council of European Bio Regions (CEBR) that gathers 40 health clusters in Europe.

Nicolas de Crombrugghe  is a partner at NautaDutilh, a leading Benelux law firm. As a member of the Corporate & Finance department in their Brussels office, Nicolas specialises in corporate/M&A, fundraising and capital markets matters.
Nicolas has many years of experience assisting corporates for their fundraisings and strategic transactions. In the life science and tech sectors, Nicolas has among others assisted Galapagos on its € 280m IPO on Nasdaq, Shire on its take-over bid on Movetis, Neurotech on its sale to the Sorin Group, Xylowatt on its successive fundraisings, Pharmavize on its buy-out.  
Nicolas received his law degree from the University of Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) in 1998. In 1999, he received a post-graduate degree in international business law (LLM) from King’s College London. Nicolas joined NautaDutilh's Corporate & Finance group in 1999.

Allard is founder of Acerta Pharma and as Executive Vice President Discovery responsible for new targets/programs for the company. In the founding process of the company Allard played a key role in the licensing discussions with Merck & Co and in the series A financing.

In addition, to heading Discovery activities, he is responsible for the Translational Science directed towards autoimmune/inflammatory indications at Acerta Pharma.

Allard received his PhD in Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the Gaubius Institute TNO in Leiden, the Netherlands, after which he worked in different positions in the pharmaceutical industry at Glaxo/GlaxoWellcome/GSK in France and the UK and later at Organon/ScheringPlough/MSD in the Netherlands.

Allard is Cell Biologist by training with over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Autoimmune Diseases, Oncology and Cardiovascular Diseases, with focus on translational biology in drug discovery and development and he (co-)authored on over 25 peer-reviewed papers.
