Dr. Barbara Koch has been responsible for the Hospital to Home/Telemedicine areas at Philips Medizin Systeme GmbH since 2014. Prior to that, she worked for two other international medical technology companies, Coloplast GmbH and Johnson&Johnson. She has a Ph.D. in Public Health with a research specialty in health care systems.
Abstract
To provide holistic care that embraces the new challenges of an increasing elderly population and their likelihood to suffer from physical diseases up to dementia, Saxony/Germany has started a partnership with seven different player.
The bundling of the key competences of each partner guarantees a holistic care model that includes individual patient needs as well as embedding the near environment of each patient.
